Morningside Church, Inc. is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant. This person should be observant, a self-starter, and detail-oriented. This person should maintain a professional appearance and workplace confidentiality. This administrative position is fast-paced and multi-faceted and requires a flexible work schedule.


Desired skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Project coordination experience and or ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and cheerful attitude
• Strong internet research skills
• Excellent penmanship
• Previous work experience and or desire to work in a ministry or church organization


Responsibilities:
• Fielding and directing phone calls
• Managing professional and personal calendars
• Scheduling and communicating appointments
• Coordinating and booking travel arrangements; preparing itineraries
• Tracking and controlling financial data
• Managing daily office functions
• Organizing and filing
• Drafting professional and personal correspondence (e-mail and letters, etc.)
• Communicating to internal management and staff
• Retrieving important information from internal management and staff
• Meeting short deadlines under pressure
• Determining and organizing priority of tasks
• Carrying out necessary activities to complete tasks
• Communicating completed tasks or projects effectively
• 40+ hours
