Morningside Church is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This person should have exceptional people skills and pervious experience in Customer Service.

 

Job requirements

 

  • Answer incoming calls, represent the ministry.
  • Respond to customer service inquires and requests.
  • Research customer service inquires and respond in a timely manner.
  • Process customer service requests and document in account history.
  • Work as an individual in a team environment.
  • Work closely with team and management.
  • Process data entry.
  • Work with UPS to manage claims, call tags and exceptions.
  • Assist in other areas as assigned.

 

Skills required

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Professional phone manner.
  • Able to diffuse escalated customer interactions with empathy.
  • Able to communicate in a professional and effective way.  This includes but is not limited to grammar, diction, tone of voice. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Able to work within a database and learn donor management system.
  • Able to analyze and interpret reports.
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment and role.
